Safari gets security upgrade November 14, 2008 Web User
Apple has launched Safari 3.2, which it says is a more secure version of its browser software.
Safari 3.2 is available for both Macs and Windows-based systems and Apple recommends that all surfers using Safari upgrade as soon as possible.
In August, an American magazine urged surfers to ditch Safari as it lacked protection against phishing attacks, something Apple claims the update will solve.
"This update is recommended for all Safari users and features protection from fraudulent phishing websites and better identification of online businesses," Apple said.
